A Taste of Giuseppe Verdi: Week 3 - Rigoletto


Last week I posted about an initiative in Perth, a talk and dinner called 'A Night with Faust' held in conjunction with the current WA Opera season of Gounod's most famous opera.  Join me on Wednesday evening for the third installment of a series entitled 'A Taste of Giuseppe Verdi' run by the delightful folks behind Cook Speak Play and Italian for Opera Lovers.

This week is the main course with music from Rigoletto and accompanied by an informative talk on the music, the composer and the inspiration behind the creation of the opera itself.

Tickets to an individual night are only $95 and included in this is a welcome buffet with a glass of white wine Prosecco, the talk and the buffet dinner based on "secondi" with a glass of red white Lambrusco.

On the 11th of November included is: a big buffet with savory cakes, parmigiano reggiano, Parma ham and a glass of Lambrusco. The talk and dessert (3 different dessert from the Terre Verdiane traditions) with a glass of Prosecco.  Plus a surprise....
